About Me
Prior to becoming a Licensed Psychologist, I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for almost 10 years. I graduated from Penn State with a double major in Psychology and Women's Studies. I attended Capella University for my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. In 2025, I graduated with a PhD in School Psychology and I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). I maintain my LPC in order to provide licensure supervision to LAPCs.
Populations Served
I work with individuals including adolescents and adults.
I also provide support to children and their parents during infancy and early childhood.
Certifications
I am trained and certified in the use of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence based program for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma.
I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional as designated by Postpartum Support International. Providers who have achieved this designation have completed trainings and passed a certification exam focused on perinatal mental health, and are required to complete ongoing continuing education credits within this area.
As an IBCLC, I am especially aware of the strong relationships between maternal mental health and infant feeding struggles and infant development. However, I do not provide lactation support to mental health clients.
I am a Registered Circle of Security® Facilitator, which a group-base parent support program.
I am a certified provider for Promoting First Relationships (PFR) an evidence-based infant and early childhood mental health program. This program is strengths-based and focuses on supporting parents to meet their children's social-emotional needs through caregiver-child interactions. This can be provided virtually or in my office. PFR can also be delivered to childcare caregivers (such as daycare teachers).
